Location: Vitikka 6, 02630 Espoo (on-site work)
Type: Full-time internship (min. 1 month with potential for extension)
Start Date: As soon as possible
Salary: 1.500 € / month for full-time internship (37,5 hours / week)
Working language: English; no Finnish required

What you will do:
As an Automation Intern, you'll be assisting with the design, installation, and maintenance of our advanced 3D concrete printing systems. Your responsibilities will include:
System assembly and wiring: You'll participate in mechanical and electrical assembly of robotic components, electrical cabinet assembly, installation of cable management systems, and cabling and wiring of system components.
Sensor and actuator integration: You'll assist in integrating, and testing sensors and actuators to ensure optimal system performance.
Troubleshooting and debugging: You'll help identify and resolve issues within our automation systems, ensuring smooth operation.
Workshop Support: Help maintain a clean and organized workshop, ensuring tools and equipment are well-kept.
Who We’re Looking For:
You are currently studying Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
While direct professional experience isn't required, we'd love to see experience working on a project that involved automation, robotics, or control systems (e.g., a university project, personal project, or team competition). This could include hands-on experience with wiring or electrical assembly.
Skills:
We're looking for an intern with a foundational understanding of automation principles. Ideally, you'll have:
Manual Dexterity: Good hands-on skills for assembly, wiring, and tool usage.
Electrical Fundamentals: Basic knowledge of electrical components, wiring, and safety.
Robotics: Exposure to robotic systems, their components, and operation.
You have good English communication skills.
