We are looking for a Mechatronics Engineer to work with our product team on development, commissioning and support of our 3D-printing system.
Responsible for:
Being Lead Mechatronics Engineer for continuous improvement of stable versions of Hyperion Manufacturing System (robotic 3D-printing cell, casting cell, logistics & post-processing) on Espoo site
- Create and maintain documentation of manufacturing system
- Maintain and update manufacturing system
- Design, prototype and test mechatronics sub-systems consisting of sensors, actuators, pneumatic, electrical and mechanical components
Create functional and technical descriptions
Create assembly and manufacturing drawings
Oversee manufacturing, installation and integration
Being Lead Mechatronics Engineer for Hyperion Manufacturing System deployment and support to overseas Hyperion sites
Create and maintain documentation of manufacturing systems
Leading small teams in installation and commissioning of 3D-printing systems on customers sites
Online support of 3D-printing systems operating on overseas Hyperion sites
Offline emergency support
Biannual maintenance of 3D-printing systems operating on overseas Hyperion sites
Requirements:
At least Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering or similar
4-5 years of relevant work experience
- Strong mechanical engineering background
SolidWorks proficiency
Solid understanding of fluid dynamics principles and their application in real-world scenarios
Industrial experience using FEM for design and analysis
Experience with selection and integration of various actuators, pneumatic and electrical components
Experience in creating and maintaining system documentation
- Strong instrumentation engineering background
Selection and implementation of various sensors into sub-systems
Proven experience in leading small teams in commissioning projects
Proficient spoken and written English, good communication skills
Good to have:
Programming with Python
Experience with PLC programming with Structured Text
Experience with industrial robotic arms
Experience with 3D-printing technologies
Experience working in R&D
Availability to start in less than 2 months
Experience working in fast-paced start-up environment
